We will construct the project in two stages – Stage 1 will commence full construction during the first quarter of 2018.
Stage 1 will comprise of 61 turbines in the south west of site, and Stage 2 will comprise of 55 turbines towards the north east of site. See plan opposite.
A contract has been awarded to a consortium comprising of Senvion, one of the world’s leading turbine manufacturers, and Downer Utilities, one of Australia’s leading civil and electrical contractors.
A new terminal station will also be built, enabling power generated to be exported into the National Energy Market via the Western Victoria 220kV network. This will be built owned and operated by AusNet services.
